Alice Cooper Announces 2016 Tour Dates

by Jody Haskins for The Laguna Spectator

Alice Cooper has announced his 2016 North American tour dates. The tour is being called “Spend the Night with Alice Cooper”.  Alice Cooper is not showing any signs of slowing down.  He is squeezing this short tour in between shows with his “supergroup” The Hollywood Vampires featuring Aerosmith’s legendary Joe Perry on guitar and my favorite modern day actor Johnny Depp.

Alice CooperAfter losing Lemmy, David Bowie and Glenn Frey in such a short period of time, it really drives home the reality that many of our favorite classic rock and heavy metal artist are quickly approaching the end of the road.  There may not be very many more chances to go see them perform one last time.  Biloxi and Nashville are both short drives for me and I plan on attending at least one of these shows. Alice Cooper is one of those acts that I have still not seen live.  I plan to rectify that this year.

4/29 — Biloxi, MS, Beau Rivage Resort & Casino
5/2 — Nashville, TN, TPAC’s Jackson Hall
5/4 — Peoria, IL, Peoria Civic Center
5/5 — Merrillville, IN, Star Plaza Theatre
